I'm so glad to announce that this year www.bloggle.me has teamed up with blogger unite to bring awareness to this epicdemic problem of domestic violence that is happening to families all across america , and beyond. As a together we can change the world ambassador i immediately jumped on board with www.bloggersunite.org to support them with this project, and help get the word out. This is my mission to make a difference in the world
I havent directly been a victim but at the same time I feel that Ive lived the physical, emotional, and mental abuses from the heartbreaking stories of my best friend who has been the victim of domestic violence for such a very long time.
This topic of domestic violence really hits home for me because for many years i have seen my very best friend who i love as a sister live with this violence in her own life. What I've noticed during all these years is that there are different faces of abuse and all of them are destructive which in the end destroy many families.
The terrible fears i have is one day to turn on the news and hear that someone had been killed over a domestic dispute and for that victim to be my friend.
Moreover, what so sad is how the children are affected mentally as well as emotionally. Experts on this topic have said that the children exposed to this kind of violence in the home usually act out the same negative behaviors in their own relationship.
Its time to break the silence to break this vicious cycle of domestic vilence once and for all. We need your help to win this fight. On Saturday I will like to present to the blogger unite community and my subscribers of posterous several Audiomentaries that I have created Called behind closed doors and Voices by N.V.R. Productions.
